R.S. 40:964<\/strong><\/p><p align=\"justify\">A. \u00a0Stimulants. \u00a0Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances having a stimulant effect on the central nervous system, including their salts, isomers, or salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, or salts of isomers is within the specific chemical designation:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(1) \u00a0Benzphetamine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(2) \u00a0Chlorphentermine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(3) \u00a0Clortermine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(4) \u00a0Repealed by Acts 1982, No. 92, \u00a72.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(5) \u00a0Phenmetrazine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(6) \u00a0Phendimetrazine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">B. \u00a0Depressants. \u00a0Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances having a depressant effect on the central nervous system:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(1) \u00a0Any substance which contains any quantity of a derivative of barbituric acid, or any salt of a derivative of barbituric acid, but not including butalbital when in combination with at least three hundred twenty-five milligrams of acetaminophen per dosage unit<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(2) \u00a0Chlorexadol<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(3) \u00a0Glutethimide<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(4) \u00a0Lysergic Acid<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(5) \u00a0Lysergic acid amide<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(6) \u00a0Methyprylon<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(7) \u00a0Sulfondiethylmethane<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(8) \u00a0Sulfonethylmethane<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(9) \u00a0Ketamine, including all salt forms<\/p><p align=\"justify\">C. \u00a0Nalorphine<\/p><p align=\"justify\">D. \u00a0Limited narcotic drugs. \u00a0Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(1) \u00a0Any material, compound, mixture, or preparation containing limited quantities of any of the following narcotic drugs, or any salts thereof:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(a) \u00a0Not more than 1.8 grams of codeine per 100 milliliters or not more than 90 milligrams per dosage unit with an equal or greater quantity of an isoquinoline alkaloid of opium.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(b) \u00a0Not more than 1.8 grams of codeine per 100 milliliters or not more than 90 milligrams per dosage unit, with one or more active, nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(c) \u00a0Not more than 300 milligrams of hydrocodone per 100 milliliters or not more than 15 milligrams per dosage unit, with a fourfold or greater quantity of an isoquinoline alkaloid of opium.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(d) \u00a0Not more than 300 milligrams of hydrocodone per 100 milliliters or not more than 15 milligrams per dosage unit, with one or more active, nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(e) \u00a0Not more than 1.8 grams of dihydrocodeine per 100 milliliters or not more than 90 milligrams per dosage unit, with one or more active, nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(f) \u00a0Not more than 300 milligrams of ethylmorphine per 100 milliliters or not more than 15 milligrams per dosage unit, with one or more active, nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(g) \u00a0Not more than 500 milligrams of opium per 100 milliliters or per 100 grams, or not more than 25 milligrams per dosage unit, with one or more active, nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(h) \u00a0Not more than 50 milligrams of morphine per 100 milliliters or per 100 grams, with one or more active nonnarcotic ingredients in recognized therapeutic amounts.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(2) \u00a0Any material, compound, mixture, or preparation containing narcotic drugs or any salts thereof including Buprenorphine.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">E. \u00a0Anabolic steroids and muscle building substances. \u00a0Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material compound, mixture, or preparation, which contains any quantity of anabolic steroids, including but not limited to the following substances or material which contains any of their salts, esters, isomers, or salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, esters, isomers, or salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical designation. \u00a0The term anabolic steroid means any drug or hormonal substance, chemically and pharmacologically related to testosterone other than estrogens, progestins, and corticosteroids that promote muscle growth and include the following:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(1) \u00a0Boldenone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(2) \u00a0Clostebol (Chlorotestosterone)<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(3) \u00a0Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(4) \u00a0Drostanolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(5) \u00a0Ethylestrenol<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(6) \u00a0Fluoxymesterone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(7) \u00a0Formebolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(8) \u00a0Mesterolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(9) \u00a0Methandienone (Methandrostenolone)<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(10) \u00a0Methandriol<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(11) \u00a0Methenolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(12) \u00a0Methlytestosterone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(13) \u00a0Mibolerone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(14) \u00a0Nandrolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(15) \u00a0Norethandrolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(16) \u00a0Oxandrolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(17) \u00a0Oxymesterone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(18) \u00a0Oxymetholone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(19) \u00a0Stanolone (Dihydrotestosterone)<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(20) \u00a0Stanozolol<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(21) \u00a0Testolactone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(22) \u00a0Testosterone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(23) \u00a0Trenbolone<\/p><p align=\"justify\">F.(1) \u00a0Except as provided in Paragraph (2) of this Subsection, the term anabolic steroid does not include a substance listed in Subsection E above but which is expressly intended for administration to livestock or other nonhuman species and which has been approved by the secretary of health and hospitals for such an administration.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(2) \u00a0If any person prescribes, dispenses, or distributes such steroid for human use, such person shall be considered to have prescribed, dispensed, or distributed an anabolic steroid within the meaning of Subsection E above.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(3) \u00a0A physician, dentist, or veterinarian shall not prescribe, dispense, deliver, or administer an anabolic steroid for human use or cause an anabolic steroid to be administered under his direction or supervision for human use except for a valid medical purpose and when required by demonstrable generally accepted medical indications. \u00a0Bodybuilding, muscle enhancement, or increasing muscle bulk or strength through the use of an anabolic steroid by a person who is in good health is hereby declared not a valid medical purpose.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">G. \u00a0Substances of vegetable origin or chemical synthesis. \u00a0Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any of the following substances whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of vegetable origin, or independently by means of chemical synthesis, or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis:<\/p><p align=\"justify\">(1) \u00a0Synthetic Dronabinol [delta-9-(trans) tetrahydrocannabinol] in sesame oil and encapsulated in a soft gelatin capsule in a U.S. Food and Drug
